Hot or Not?

The RFP for the 21st Annual NASPP Conference closed on Friday, March 1 and we are now in the thick of it in terms of evaluating speaking proposals. We received close to 150 proposals and they are all excellent. We’ve rated almost all of them an A or B (on a scale where A means “definitely going to offer this,” B means “great potential, could still make the cut,” and C means “nope, never in a million years”). We can only accept 40 or so sessions, so we really have our work cut out for us (but the silver lining here is that I think the Conference program is going to be phenomenal this year–you are definitely going to want to be there for it).

So, to help us sort through all these phenomenal proposals, we are going to play the “Hot or Not” game today. I’ve listed several possible speaking topics below (divided into US topics and global topics). Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to tell me how interested you are in each topic–is it hot or not so hot?
